Job summary
Our client is looking for a Product Designer to join their team. This will be for 12+ months, 40 hours per week, and onsite 2-3x per week in downtown Toronto. Rate range is $55-65 per hour, T4. You will be working in a design pod with fellow Designers and UX Architects. Responsibilities: Wireframing & Prototyping — Create low‑ to high‑fidelity prototypes that communicate design direction and interaction patterns. UI/Interaction Design — Design clean, consistent, accessible interfaces for web and portal environments. Design Systems — Contribute to or maintain a scalable design system for consistent product experiences. Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Work with product and engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately. Continuous Improvement — Use analytics, feedback, and testing to iterate and improve the user experience. Skills needed: UX/UI Design experience for web products or portals Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility (WCAG) Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces Portfolio demonstrating UX process and final design outcomes
