As a Warehouse Support – Junior Material Handler, you will be able to: Perform duties to add, maintain, remove and supply Kanban items Handle Kanban cards, replenishment process in a timely manner Other duties per cross training matrix (All Warehouse functions), and as assigned Cross train in “tugger” duties, including, "scrap route" per defined schedule Maintain a clean and orderly work area, while ensuring personal safety as well as the safety of others. Provide assistance in conducting physical inventories where required. Provide assistance in receiving, checking, and working inbound deliveries where required. Report any damages to product. Manage inventory following established guidelines and procedures including labeling and locating parts, picking parts from appropriate locations in specified quantities to fill kits or bins, delivering parts to work areas, and recording and communicating inventory levels. Packaging parts, components, or kits according to instructions. Perform cycle counts and stock checks as necessary Organize and maintain inventory in a controlled manner and as directed Inquire on outstanding purchase orders as necessary Send tools out for repair/warranty as necessary Coordinate pickup and delivery of materials or tools Take active part in the company's 5S program Check for damaged items, document, and initiate replacement process as required Store raw materials in the yard, and move materials into the shop and load machines as required Perform other duties as required.
