We are currently looking for a Full Time Machine Operator at our newly equipped Milton plant. The candidate must be available to work in both rotating dayshift/nightshift or weekend, when required. Job Responsibilities Operates MAS1 wetside machine and ensure its good functioning; Operate the strapping and wrapping machines and ensure its good functioning; Operate all the equipment related to the machine; Follow quality manual. Complete quality and production reports. Look after the curing of the products to ensure good curing of products; Perform set-up changes; Perform operations and necessary adjustments for machine start up; Programs equipment in accordance with the product requested. Make and save product recipes to optimize product change over; Perform preventive maintenance of equipment; Participate in maintenance work; Participate in machine clean-up. Clean up tasks as required, like cleaning Press / Mixer; Participate in the Rekers department housekeeping. Keep his work area and toolbox clean; Communicate to competent people any abnormalities or faulty situations regarding the product, quality, machine, equipment, workplace or other; Work as a team; Wear safety personal protective equipment as required for this position and work safely. Requirements

Requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience operating equipment. Knowledge of welding, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics is considered an asset.
