Job summary
The landscape of enterprise renewals is shifting. Top performers no longer dedicate their time to administrative tasks—they dedicate it to refining the AI systems that handle those tasks. This is not a conventional enterprise renewals position. You will manage Trilogy's highest-value customer accounts while collaborating with Fiona, our AI-powered renewals agent. Fiona takes care of preparation, data analysis, contract processes, and routine follow-up. Your focus is on the interactions that require human expertise: executive relationship management, commercial decision-making, sophisticated negotiations, and the strategic judgment AI cannot yet provide. Each renewal cycle you oversee also trains Fiona to operate with greater independence, enhancing the platform's intelligence with every engagement. Trilogy is constructing an AI-first operational framework across its software businesses. AI is not treated as an add-on to legacy workflows. Instead, we rebuild workflows around AI capabilities and deploy human judgment only where it delivers the highest impact. In this capacity, you will help establish what enterprise renewals should be in an AI-native environment while safeguarding millions in recurring revenue from our most important enterprise accounts. If you are a seasoned enterprise renewals professional who excels in executive-level dialogue, views AI as a strategic advantage, and is motivated to architect the future rather than maintain legacy practices, we welcome your application. What You Will Be Doing Manage executive-level relationships and commercial terms for Trilogy's most valuable enterprise renewal accounts, including sophisticated multi-year deals in the seven-figure range. Collaborate with Fiona, Trilogy's AI renewals agent, applying your expertise and customer insights to systematically enhance its capabilities and operational independence. Evaluate customer health signals, usage patterns, commercial background, and business exposure to proactively secure favorable renewal outcomes. Leverage Salesforce and AI-integrated systems to sustain reliable forecasts, detect renewal threats in advance, and concentrate your efforts where human judgment delivers maximum value. Translate insights from customer interactions into scalable process enhancements that increase the effectiveness of the renewals operation over time. What You Won’t Be Doing Handling manual contract generation, approval tracking, or other repetitive administrative functions. Overseeing transactional, high-volume renewals or small and mid-sized business portfolios. Prospecting for new business or working under a conventional commission-based sales structure. Developing production-level software code or designing AI algorithms. Building or supervising a renewals team rather than directly influencing the most critical customer results. Strategic Account Manager Key Responsibilities Manage Trilogy's highest-priority enterprise renewals while driving continuous refinement of the AI infrastructure that supports improved retention, operational efficiency, and progressively autonomous renewal execution. Basic Requirements Direct experience owning enterprise renewals or customer retention for B2B software clients with accounts generating at least $100K in annual recurring revenue. Demonstrated accountability for quarterly retention or Net Revenue Retention goals, consistently delivering at least 90% NRR or comparable performance over multiple quarters. Personal track record of successfully managing complex, multi-year enterprise renewals valued at $1M or higher. Practical experience deploying AI-powered or agentic tools in enterprise renewals, customer success, or enterprise sales environments. Solid proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms, including renewal forecasting, risk assessment, and pipeline oversight. Outstanding executive communication abilities, commercial negotiation expertise, and relationship stewardship skills. Ability to operate effectively in a global, fully remote work setting. Nice-to-have Requirements Hands-on experience refining AI prompts, operational workflows, or decision logic informed by customer engagements. Professional history in enterprise SaaS, cloud-based software, or subscription technology sectors. Capability to synthesize insights from contracts, customer health metrics, support data, and product usage to inform renewal approaches. Proven systems-oriented mindset with a history of enhancing scalable commercial operations through automation. About Trilogy Hundreds of software businesses run on the Trilogy Business Platform.
