R.P.N. (registered practical nurse)

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Retirement home. Tasks: Administer medications. Apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing. Ensure infection control. Monitor nutritional intake. Observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects . Record medication's therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files. Take vital signs.
