Job details
Why CSL? At CSL Group, we’re not just cutting grass, we’re building careers. As a dynamic, family-based company with a great reputation, we invest in our people and create opportunities to grow. If you’re looking for a career, not just another job with a weed trimmer in hand, you’ve found the right place. Our team lives by our values of SHARING: Safety, Humility, Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Nurturing, and Growth. Translation? We’ve built a workplace where people have each other’s backs, take pride in their work, pitch in when needed, and still know how to have a laugh along the way. What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Leading the Charge Outside) Lead a crew of approximately 4–5 team members and keep the day running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Plan daily work, assign tasks, manage priorities, and keep the crew on schedule. Lead crews in commercial landscape maintenance, including turf care, mowing, trimming, pruning, garden bed maintenance, planting, weeding, cleanups, and seasonal landscape services. Support other landscape work as required, including enhancements, planting projects, landscape improvements, and general property services. Inspect properties and completed work to ensure CSL standards for quality, appearance, and service are being met. Provide hands-on direction, coaching, and training to crew members while leading by example. Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager regarding progress, site conditions, staffing, materials, equipment, and any issues that need attention. Build positive working relationships with clients, site contacts, contractors, suppliers, and other CSL team members. Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment, including mowers, tractors, trimmers, pruning equipment, blowers, and other small equipment. Complete routine equipment inspections and report damaged, defective, or unsafe vehicles, tools, equipment, or materials. Make practical decisions in the field and solve problems when things don’t go exactly according to plan. Follow all company safety procedures, site requirements, applicable regulations, codes, and bylaws. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional worksite. Drive company vehicles and trailers safely when required. Get your hands dirty when needed. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a sit-in-the-truck-and-watch kind of job. Perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, digging, climbing, and working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. What’s In It For You? Competitive wages because good leaders are worth investing in Company-paid benefits package DPSP program to help build for the future Employee appreciation events because hard work deserves to be celebrated Company-paid uniforms Safety boot allowance Training and development opportunities Opportunities to grow your career with a family-based company that is continuing to grow Other companies may call this job: Landscape Maintenance Supervisor, Landscape Foreman, Crew Leader, Landscape Lead, Landscape Supervisor, Landscape Team Lead, Enhancement Crew Leader, Landscaper, Grounds Maintenance Supervisor #CSLH
