Job summary

POSITION SUMMARY: Perform the day-to-day operations within the Warehouse, including but not limited to inventory control and preparation of daily shipments to customers Shift: Monday to Friday, Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM) Responsible for: Moving products and material by hand or with basic material handling equipment Following and complying with Cube Management (CMS) Duties: Enter packing slips into the ERP system daily Notify departments when products arrive Communicate daily with CS any problems that arise Ensure products are packed at IMM and packing area, as required for staging prior to shipping Maintain a well-rounded knowledge of products sold Support any inquiries from the customer service team regarding delivery and inventory Submit all necessary inventory data to the finance team on a timely basis Monitor inventory tasks as needed Knowledge/Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS Forklift certification in Counterbalance and Reach is required A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a warehouse and assembly type operation Completion of post-secondary education Previous experience in distribution centre operations - focus on servicing internal and external customers is preferred Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques such as; one piece flow, 5S, valve stream mapping, etc. is an asset Ability to support ongoing continuous improvement activities such as cost savings Knowledge of safety procedures using industrial equipment Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Proven skills in time management and ability to prioritise tasks within a fast-paced environment Understanding of local customer and market dynamics and requirements would be an asset Complexity Strong computer skills - MS Office platform Prioritization of tasks to ensure deadlines are met Good time management skills Strong aptitude with numbers Eye for detail and quality Knowledge of WHMIS Effort and Working Conditions May be required to stand for long periods of time Typical manufacturing environment Benefits Extended dental, health and vision coverage upon completion of 3 month probationary period RRSP Program: Eligible to participate after 3-month probationary period Quarterly Bonus: Eligible to participate after 3-month probationary period Free on-site parking
