Job summary
Major Duties and Responsibilities: · Work for the Power System Department as instructed by the department manager · Inside sales activities · Handle & organize customer inquiries · Read project specifications, drawings, and produce basic proposals and quotations · Modification and reproduction of AutoCAD drawings · Compiling submittal data and drawings for submittal to customers · Produce bill of materials · Invoicing of product · Produce project specific manuals in hard and electronic copies · E-file management of project details · Assist Power Generation Sales Department Sales/Project Managers · Learn diesel, natural gas, dynamic UPS, battery storage, micro-grid, etc. Power Generation Business · Learn and use company business system and CRM tools · Internal coordination & communication with the other departments within company · Office tasks (equipment manual preparation, document digitization, etc) · Project management after award: - Vendors quotation gathering and evaluation - Procurement - issue project PO’s, receipt of goods, goods management - Financial management of overall project & Reporting - Keep project budget & schedule on track - Shipping and Logistics Coordination - Coordination with Client & Service Department for Commissioning & Warranty Skills and Abilities: · Strong organizational skills and ability to co-ordinate · Effective oral and written communication skills in English · Knowledgeable in power electrical systems, electronics, PLC, and data communication · Strong Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook, etc) · Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or electrical and mechanical drafting · Proficient mechanical and electrical aptitude an asset · Self-motivated, punctual and capable of working without direct supervision · Good customer services skills · Ability to multi-tasking and finish work by deadline · Favor will be given to applicants with power generation experience Education/Training: · Power Option - Electrical Engineering (EIT), Electrical Technologist – or approved equivalent · Sales & Marketing Diploma – or must be willing to achieve Sauder School of Business Diploma in Sales and Marketing · Willing to further education through company approved courses (e.g. MTU or other manufacturers’ training) · Willing to take first aid training Pre-requisites: · Valid BC Drivers License · Valid Passport and ability to travel To learn about our companies products and services, please visit www.cullendiesel.com Cullen group of companies are committedto the principles of employment equity and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
