Cultivate is a private group practice where an eclectic group of approachable professionals have found their clinical home. We are a values-driven practice with a focus on accessibility and reducing or removing as many barriers to care as possible. We provide approximately 1500 hours of counselling and formal assessment services to Albertans each month, both online and in-person, and our pay what you can pricing has allowed us to give away or subsidize approximately $6 million dollars in services since 2019 without external funding sources such as grants. Our team consists of people from various backgrounds and identities, including members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, many cultural, racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds, as well as people with disabilities, including neurodivergence. We have an established practice that prioritizes flexibility and the humanity and wellbeing of our team members and clients alike. Cultivate is seeking a backup supervisor to provide as needed supervision coverage for our primary supervisor in instances of illness or time off. Coverage is for a group of registered provisional psychologists. *This is a contract position that can provide outside supervision or be integrated into our team. General Requirements: cultural competence and a practical understanding of intersectionality a passion for lifelong learning and personal and professional growth a strengths-based approach to supervision proof of adequate professional liability insurance that covers clinical supervision services clear police information and vulnerable sector check Clinical and Licensing Requirements: registered psychologist in good standing with CAP Minimum 5 years post registration experience training and relevant experience in clinical supervision competency in formal assessment with a focus on differential diagnosis and high masking and other hard to recognize presentations of neurodivergence willingness to work with government and educational institution forms such as DTCs and disability verification Required Availability: minimum of 5 hours per week online potential availability for monthly in-person group supervision of provisionals Commitment: 3 month contract to start with option to extend What We Offer comprehensive team manuals, onboarding, and introductions to systems and processes furnished office space in Montgomery NW JaneApp and Google Business Workspace backend administrative support competitive compensation to be negotiated depending on position, hours, and experience Start Date: ASAP Interested candidates are asked to submit any questions or their CV and expression of interest to Jessy Roos at jessy@growthelife.com.

Requirements

Applicants must be registered psychologists in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists, have at least five years of post-registration experience, and have relevant training and experience in clinical supervision. Requirements also include cultural competence, strengths-based supervision, liability insurance covering supervision, a clear police and vulnerable sector check, and competency in formal assessment, including neurodivergence presentations.
