Position: Registered Occupational Therapist to provide in-clinic and community-based assessment and treatment services to a variety of client populations including individuals with mental health needs (including Anxiety, Depression and PSTD), Neurodivergence (including Adult ADHD, Autism), along with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions, servicing the National Capital Region. Position tasks may include but are not limited to: · Lead a wide variety of programs including traditional OT intervention and assessments (Veterans, WSIB, Federal and Provincial Government, MVA). · Working towards the goal of successfully returning ill workers to their previous or alternative employment positions · Apply organizational and decision-making skills to manage a time constraint caseload · Establish and maintain collaborative, professional relationships with various stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and community health care providers · Develop intervention programs to address clients' needs related to function in self-care, work and leisure activities · Maintain clients records Requirements: · Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) · Professional Liability Insurance · 3-5 years experience · Valid driver’s license and vehicle · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Strong Team Player · Bilingual (French & English) Oral and written an asset (English required) · Experience working with complex trauma (PTSD) and/or with first responders an asset · Understanding of legislation surrounding return to work, disability management, accommodation principles, organizational policies and sustainable work best practices is essential. · Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Cognitive Assessments, Exposure Therapy and Behavioral Activation is an asset. · Experience with Functional Capacity Evaluations, In-Home Assessment and Accident Benefits as asset. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $39.00-$50.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week Position Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred) License/Certification: Registration with COTO (required) Driving License and reliable vehicle (required) Willingness to travel (community): 50 to 100% (preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Nepean, ON Website: www.cve.ca

Strong communication and teamwork skills are required; experience with complex trauma, return-to-work legislation, disability management, cognitive therapies, functional capacity evaluations, and accident benefits is an asset.
