Summary The Quality and Training Specialist supports the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards, applicable Food safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. This includes all related QMS established audits that need completed, weekly, monthly, etc. This role also supports the training and development of employees by providing training to employees, coordinating, tracking, and recording the completion of warehouse job skillsets on provided tracking spreadsheets or training database, skill competency matrix, etc. Responsibilities include developing and delivering presentations and training sessions for operations employees on topics such as QMS principles, ISO standards, compliance requirements, and various training programs. Responsibilities Quality Management System Maintain and support the company’s ISO certifications, Quality Management System and Training initiatives. Control and update quality and training documentation including SOPs, work instructions, forms, and records. Coordinate/conduct ISO internal audits and support external/3 rd Party certification audits. Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness as required. Assist with risk assessments and process improvement initiatives. Food Safety, GMP Compliance, and FDA Support compliance with AIB Consolidated Standards. Conduct facility inspections and GMP audits. Assist with food safety documentation and recordkeeping. Participate / conduct food safety training and awareness programs. Support root cause investigations related to quality or food safety issues. Auditing & Continuous Improvement Perform ISO Internal process audits and supplier quality evaluations. Analyze quality trends and recommend corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with customer complaints (CAPA’s) and nonconformance investigations as required. Training & Communication Provide training to both Leadership / employees on quality processes, ISO standards, and GMP requirements, Food Safety, and various operations job skills, WMS system training, etc. Audit training progress across the network ensuring compliance. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the network. Communicate audit findings and corrective actions across departments. Provide follow-up on actions taken and keep the Operations network informed. Requirements Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook. Flexibility to support a three-shift operation, as needed. Ability to read, write, and speak English, bi-lingual is a plus. Strong knowledge of QMS principles and auditing practices. Excellent documentation and organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments and projects and work independently. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to present information to large groups. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in distribution warehouse environment. Experience with the development and implementation of ISO, QMS, Processes, Work Instructions, FDA (audits), and Training in the aforementioned areas. Requirements

Candidates need 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within a distribution warehouse environment, with knowledge of ISO and FDA audits. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to present to large groups are required.
