Job summary
Senior Automation Engineer – Python & Power Platform Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise automation solutions using Python, Microsoft Power Platform, APIs, and modern software engineering practices. The role will focus on automating business and technology processes, building data integrations and pipelines, and leveraging AI-assisted development and Agentic AI capabilities to improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise automation solutions using Python as the primary development language. Apply strong software engineering practices, including reusable code, testing, version control, documentation, and code reviews. Develop workflow and process automation using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Platform. Build integrations and data pipelines using SQL, REST APIs, Python, and other enterprise data sources. Develop scripts, services, and automation frameworks to eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions, to automate build, testing, and deployment. Integrate automation solutions with enterprise applications and platforms through APIs. Leverage Agentic AI, Generative AI, and AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and introduce intelligent automation capabilities. Troubleshoot and optimize automation solutions for reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborate with application, data, infrastructure, and business teams to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions. Support deployment and operationalization of automation solutions across enterprise environments. Where applicable, support AWS-based DevOps and cloud automation initiatives. Required Skills Strong hands-on Python development and automation experience. Strong software engineering/development background. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate / Power Platform. Strong SQL skills and experience consuming and integrating REST APIs. Experience developing data pipelines and system integrations. Experience with Git and CI/CD, preferably GitHub Actions. Practical experience using Agentic AI, Generative AI, or AI-assisted development tools. Nice to Have AWS cloud and DevOps experience. Infrastructure or application automation experience in large enterprise environments. Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into automation workflows.
