Role Summary Reporting to the Master Planner, the Production & Inventory Planner is responsible for executing the day-to-day production plan at DART Aerospace's Kirkland facility. This includes creating and releasing production jobs in Plex, managing inventory transactions and accuracy, and ramp-up to full production. The role works closely with QC, Purchasing, and Warehouse functions on-site. Key Responsibilities Production Planning • Create and release production jobs in Plex against the master schedule • Issue work orders, kit lists, and shortage reports to the shop floor • Close jobs, post labor and material consumption, reconcile variances • Flag schedule conflicts, capacity bottlenecks, and material shortages to the Master Planner Inventory Management • Execute receiving, issuing, transfer, and adjustment transactions in Plex • Manage kit pulls for FAI and production work orders • Maintain part master data: lead times, safety stock, lot sizes, locations • Coordinate with QC on inspection status and quarantine clearance • Execute cycle counts per schedule, with QC witnessing and approval of variances • Investigate and document inventory discrepancies; escalate adjustments above threshold for approval Required Skills & Experience • 3-5 years in production planning, materials, or inventory control • Experience in aerospace or another regulated manufacturing environment (medical, defense, automotive Tier 1) strongly preferred • Hands-on ERP experience: Plex preferred; SAP, Oracle, Dynamics NAV, or Epicor acceptable • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups; Power Query a plus) • Comfortable reading engineering drawings and multi-level BOMs • Detail-oriented with strong discipline around transactional accuracy • Bilingual French / English preferred Nice to Have • Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools Why Join DART Aerospace Work on specialized aerospace and aerial firefighting equipment used globally Join a growing manufacturing operation supporting production expansion Direct exposure to ERP, production planning, inventory execution, and aerospace manufacturing operations Opportunity to work in a hands-on operational environment with strong cross-functional visibility Competitive compensation and benefits package
