Job summary

Are you an experienced Autobody Painter or senior level apprentice who needs a change and wants to work with a great team? Do you want to work in a busy shop with lots of productivity hours available so you can earn more? Fix Auto in Salmon Arm is looking for an experienced Autobody Painter to join our team. We have a lot of productivity hours available which translates to higher earnings for you! Our ideal candidate is detail orientated, customer-focused, with a positive can-do attitude. We have a competitive pay structure where, as a journeyman, you can earn between $30.00 and $32.00 per productivity hour. If you are not a journeyman painter, we are willing to work with you as an apprentice to help you obtain your journeyman status. Ideal Requirements: * Journeyman Red Seal Auto Body Painter with a minimum of 2 years of Auto Body painting experience is preferred, however we will also consider senior level apprentice painters * Detail oriented and demonstrates superior quality in all work produced * Ability to work within a team environment, but also be a self-starter * Ability to work in a fast-paced, clean environment **Bonus points for I-car platinum status or partial completion of I-car courses Why you want to work with Fix Auto: * Competitive compensation plan and a robust benefits plan * We are passionate about the work we do and our employees * We are busy year-round, with a lot of work as a result of our strong insurance partners

Requirements

Candidates should ideally hold a Journeyman Red Seal Auto Body Painter certification with at least 2 years of experience. Senior level apprentices are also encouraged to apply, and I-car platinum status or course completion is considered a bonus.
