I’m looking for a local Edmonton-based video editor to help turn raw talking-head recordings into short-form social media clips. The work is simple but detail-oriented: I record 2–5 minute talking-head videos, and need them edited down into clean 30–60 second clips. You’ll be helping with: Cutting out silences and dead space Removing repeated words / awkward restarts Adding clean auto-captions Adding simple zooms every few seconds Cleaning up pacing so the final clip feels sharp and natural Exporting short-form vertical videos for social media I’ve already built an AI automation that handles about 90% of this, so I’m looking for someone who can either clean up the automated edits or handle the full edit from scratch when needed. Ideal volume is up to 5 video edits per day. Requirements: Must be in the Edmonton area Must have experience using CapCut on macOS Must be comfortable editing talking-head / short-form content Must be reliable and able to turn edits around quickly Bonus if you understand social media pacing, hooks, captions, and retention-style editing

The video editor will edit raw talking-head recordings into short-form social media clips, focusing on cutting out silences, awkward restarts, and adding captions. They will also clean up automated edits and ensure the final clips are sharp and natural.

Requirements

Candidates must be located in the Edmonton area and have experience using CapCut on macOS. They should be comfortable editing talking-head content and be reliable with quick turnaround times.
