More information about the company and its services can be found at www.deltaroofing.ca. Role Description The Commercial Roofing Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. In this position, the technician will install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial roofing systems, including assessing roof conditions, identifying issues, and recommending solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing work sites, handling roofing materials, performing waterproofing and insulation work, and ensuring all jobs meet company quality standards. The technician will work safely at heights, follow health and safety regulations, and use appropriate tools and equipment. This role also involves collaborating with team members, communicating with supervisors about project progress, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Strong roofing skills, including experience with commercial and industrial roofs and related systems. Proficiency in carpentry tasks relevant to roof construction and repair. Knowledge of insulation techniques and materials used in roofing applications. Experience with waterproofing methods to ensure durable, leak-free roof installations. Ability and willingness to work safely at height, following all safety protocols and using fall protection equipment. Previous experience as a roofing technician or in a similar construction trade role. Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, and technical specifications is helpful but not required. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Reliable transportation to the Shop and various work sites and flexibility to work extended hours as needed. Valid safety certifications (e.g., Working at Heights training) are an asset.
