Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Volunteer role based in Waterloo, ON. The volunteer will support the planning and execution of cultural events, community gatherings, and educational programs, including setting up venues, greeting attendees, and assisting with registration and logistics. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating with other volunteers, preparing materials, maintaining event spaces, and providing general administrative support such as answering inquiries and updating records. The role also involves engaging with community members, sharing information about upcoming activities, and helping ensure a welcoming and respectful environment. The volunteer will collaborate closely with the organizing committee and may be assigned specific projects based on skills and interests. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse community members and work collaboratively with teams.
