Work That Matters, People Who Care.Job DescriptionWHAT'S THE JOB?This position is primarily responsible for maintaining, servicing and commissioning computerized automated building controls (HVAC). Under specific task direction, the technicians work on the maintenance or installation of VCI Controls systems at various sites. To work on various sites, you must be able to obtain government security clearance. Responsibilities:Install, wire, and commission BAS control systems (DDC panels, sensors, actuators, VAVs, etc.)Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC controls, networks, and system integrationPerform point-to-point checkout and system verificationModify and update control sequences and graphics as requiredSupport project teams with startup and commissioning activitiesRespond to service calls and diagnose system issues in a timely mannerWork with multiple systems (Alerton, Siemens, Honeywell, Niagara, Strato/OCN+, etc.)Coordinate with mechanical contractors, electricians, and other trades on-siteMaintain accurate documentation, including redlines, reports, and service notesEnsure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and site requirementsProvide professional communication and support to clientsQualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?5 - 7 years minimum experience in executing projects in the building automation industrySound knowledge of building automation systems and the construction environment.Must be able to obtain government security clearanceAble to work with minimum supervisionSuperior time management & organization skillsValid G Driver’s License & have own transportationJudgment & decision-makingPlanning & organizingProblem analysis & problem solvingStrong communication & interpersonal skillsExcels in collaborative work environment Seeks long term development growth within companyAdditional InformationWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?Be part of an industry that's more important than ever!Employee Referral Program!Career advancement opportunities.Whereas other companies are downsizing, we are growing!Be #1 on day 1 by joining an industry leader.Dexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. Responsible for maintaining, servicing, and commissioning computerized automated building controls for HVAC systems. This includes installing DDC panels, troubleshooting network issues, and coordinating with on-site mechanical contractors.

Requires 5-7 years of experience in the building automation industry and the ability to obtain government security clearance. A valid G Driver's License and own transportation are mandatory.
