We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Catering Coordinator to join our team in Charlottetown, Canada. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality catered meals while ensuring safe and timely transportation. You will represent our organization with professionalism and excellence, managing both food service operations and vehicle logistics to exceed client expectations. Prepare, plate, and serve catered meals and beverages according to client specifications and dietary requirements Operate catering equipment safely and maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas Manage food inventory, track supplies, and place orders to maintain adequate stock levels Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic regulations and company policies Plan and execute delivery routes throughout Charlottetown to ensure timely arrival at events and locations Maintain comprehensive vehicle maintenance records and report any mechanical issues promptly Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times Set up and break down catering stations, including tables, serving equipment, and decorative elements Coordinate with clients and event organizers to confirm delivery times, menu details, and special requests Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the catering vehicle Manage multiple deliveries and events simultaneously while maintaining organizational efficiency Qualifications WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Valid driver's license (Class 5 or equivalent) with a clean driving record Current food handling certification and knowledge of food safety regulations Proven experience in food service or catering operations Demonstrated experience operating commercial or passenger vehicles Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Reliable transportation and punctuality Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation Preferred: Previous catering experience with event management Preferred: Familiarity with Charlottetown routes and local geography Preferred: Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge Additional Information WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
