We're looking for a hands-on Chef Manager to lead our food service operation in Guelph. This is an opportunity for a chef who is passionate about food quality, presentation, hospitality and team development, and who thrives being visible in the kitchen, on the floor and alongside their team. What You'll Do As Chef Manager, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact, lead a talented team, build meaningful client relationships and create a food program that people genuinely look forward to experiencing. Together, we'll continue raising the bar for culinary excellence and hospitality. You'll be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience through great food, strong leadership and consistent execution. From daily menu delivery to catering and special events, you'll play a key role in shaping the experience for both customers and our client partners. Lead a Quality-Driven Food Program Deliver consistently exceptional food quality, presentation and service Lead menu execution, daily features, catering and special events Maintain high standards of food safety, production, cleanliness and kitchen organization Ensure recipes, portioning and culinary standards are executed consistently Lead and Develop the Team Coach, mentor and support a team of culinary and service professionals Create a positive, accountable and customer-focused workplace culture Set clear expectations and lead by example during busy service periods Support onboarding, training and ongoing employee development Create an Exceptional Customer Experience Build strong relationships with customers and client stakeholders Maintain a visible presence in the operation and engage with guests regularly Use feedback to continuously improve the food program Manage food costs, labour and inventory while delivering operational excellence Qualifications Who We're Looking for A Great Attitude! An experienced culinary leader with a passion for food quality, presentation and hospitality A hands-on coach who enjoys developing teams and leading by example Customer-focused and comfortable building strong client relationships Experienced in high-volume food service operations Knowledgeable in food safety, inventory, purchasing and cost management Comfortable balancing culinary leadership with operational and administrative responsibilities Proficient with Microsoft Office and operational management systems Red Seal certified or professionally trained in the culinary arts is considered an asset Ready to lead a team that's passionate about great food and exceptional service?
