Job Description As a Bilingual Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for employees, clients, visitors, and guests. You will provide professional reception and workplace support. We are currently seeking a professional, friendly, and service-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Ottawa. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist employees, clients, visitors, and guests in a courteous and professional manner. Answer and direct incoming calls and respond to inquiries in both official languages. Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier services, including collection, sorting, dispatch, and distribution. Support pantry service delivery and ensure pantry areas are organized and adequately stocked. Manage office supplies, including monitoring inventory, placing orders, receiving deliveries, and maintaining organized storage. Support meeting room management, including coordinating room bookings, preparing meeting rooms, and ensuring spaces are ready for meetings and events. Respond to general workplace service requests and provide administrative support as required. Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures, policies, and service standards. Work collaboratively with the client and internal teams to ensure a seamless workplace experience. Maintain a professional reception area and a high standard of customer service at all times. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or employee information. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in reception, customer service, office administration, or a related position. Fluency in both English and French, written and verbal, is required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional, welcoming, and approachable personality. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients, visitors, and internal teams.
