Diamond Head is a community leader in social responsibility and environmental sustainability. We work to protect, restore and enhance the natural environment. We are hiring for motivated individuals with great work ethics to join our operational team. Our operational crews specialize in ecosystem restoration works including: invasive plant removals and planting native trees and shrubs. Work is mainly in natural areas and parks throughout Metro Vancouver. The working environment will vary considerably, and eligible candidates will be working outdoors in all weather conditions (including rain and cold). Applicants need to enjoy working outdoors and have a good attitude. Work is staged out of our Burnaby office (7110 Gilley Ave, Burnaby). Work hours are 8 hours per day starting at 7am Monday-Friday. Several job sites are in the City of Surrey, so candidates from Surrey are welcome to apply as long as they can provide their own daily transport to job sites. Compensation starts at $21/hr. This is a 6-week contract, with possibility for extension.
