Fixed Term - Full Time - 12 month position Applications are invited from suitably experienced and graduate persons for a full time, fixed term position for a Gr 1 Classroom Teacher to commence in Term 1 2027 until the end of the 2027 school year. Those seeking a part time role are also invited to apply. This is a Teacher Category position under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 with remuneration subject to a salary assessment. Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include: * To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children; * To provide students with a rich and engaging educational experience; * Ensure the delivery of curriculum that reaches and engages students with a diverse range of educational abilities and backgrounds; * A collegial and collaborative approach to learning and teaching. Key Selection Criteria: * Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission; * Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration); * A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate; * Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning; * Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment; * Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment. Requirements

Applicants must hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or be eligible for it. A commitment to Catholic identity and mission, along with an accreditation to teach Religious Education, is required.
