About the Role: Practical Nurse Instructor – Theory, Lab, and/or Clinicals Locations: Nanaimo We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practical Nurse Instructor to join our team and deliver high-quality instruction in Theory, Lab, and/or Clinical settings. Rate Range: $34- $45 for PN (based on years of experience and levels of care) $40 - $60 for RN (based on years of experience and levels of care) Start Date : August 11, 2026 Key Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality instruction in theory, lab, and clinical settings. * Execute lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements as per PTIRU compliance. - Extensive in-house curriculum orientation and training provided. * Provide hands-on training and supervision in clinical environments. * Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. * Maintain a collaborative and supportive learning environment. * Stay current with best practices and developments in nursing education. Qualifications: * Minimum 3,900 hours of nursing experience, inclusive of maternity along with mental health and community experience. * Current full registration with the BCCNM – required. * Previous instructor experience is an asset. * Experience with Office 365 and Student Information Systems (SIS) is an asset. * Strong communication and mentorship skills. * Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles. * Commitment to fostering a positive educational experience.
