Manager of Capital Projects - Permanent Full-Time Are you a strategic and collaborative engineering leader with a passion for delivering projects that shape communities? The District is seeking a Manager of Capital Projects to lead the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of municipal infrastructure projects that support community growth, sustainability, and quality of life. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will oversee a team of professional and technical staff responsible for delivering the District's capital investment program. You will provide leadership in project planning, resource allocation, budget management, consultant oversight, stakeholder engagement, and risk management while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Council priorities and community needs. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our community through the successful delivery of critical infrastructure projects and services. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to long-term infrastructure planning, capital budgeting, and departmental strategy. Collaborate in the development of the annual capital plan and recommend implementation strategies and resource requirements to the Director. Provide oversight and guidance to staff in the development of project objectives, and delivery strategies. Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, Indigenous communities, consultants, and residents to successfully deliver projects that enhance and maintain critical municipal infrastructure.
