We are working with a growing, entrepreneurial organization operating at the intersection of technical building products distribution and specification-driven sales. This team is known for its high-performance culture, strong accountability, and a collaborative environment where individuals take ownership and make a direct impact. We are looking for a technically strong Architectural Sales Representative to lead specification efforts across Ontario — working directly with the design community to ensure products are specified early in the project lifecycle. The Opportunity This role is centered around influencing the design stage of commercial and institutional projects. You will work closely with architects, consultants, and engineers to position solutions that ultimately drive downstream sales through distribution channels. You will have the autonomy to manage your territory, build relationships across the A&D community, and play a key role in growing brand presence across Ontario. What You'll Be Doing Specification & Design Engagement Build and maintain relationships with architects, specification writers, building envelope consultants, and design-build firms Deliver technical presentations, CEUs, and lunch & learns to the design community Position products into project specifications at the design stage Project & Pipeline Management Track projects from early design through tender and construction Work closely with internal teams to support specification conversion Provide technical guidance on assemblies, detailing, installation, and code compliance Market Development Increase brand awareness within Ontario's A&D community Attend and participate in key industry events Maintain a consistent cadence of technical presentations within your territory What We're Looking For 3-7+ years of experience in architectural or specification sales (building envelope experience is highly valued) Strong understanding of construction assemblies, specifications, and building systems Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical details Established relationships within the Ontario A&D community are a strong asset Confident presenter with strong communication and relationship-building skills Familiarity with platforms such as Dodge or ConstructConnect is beneficial Knowledge of high-performance building standards (Step Code, Passive House, Net Zero) is an asset A competitive, driven mindset with a high level of personal accountability Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $95,000 - $125,000, with flexibility based on experience Performance-based bonus/commission structure Vehicle allowance Comprehensive health benefits Ongoing training and professional development A supportive, team-oriented culture with strong growth potential Flexibility of a remote-based role with autonomy over your territory Why This Role Stands Out This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact, specification-driven sales role where your ability to influence at the design stage directly drives business success.
