They are currently seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead their Edmonton operation. What You'll Do As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the branch, ensuring operational efficiency while driving sales growth and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Include Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing branch team. Drive branch sales and profitability while achieving operational goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and key customers. Oversee daily branch operations, including inventory management, purchasing, receiving, and customer service. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and operational procedures. Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate branch employees. Monitor branch performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze market activity, pricing, and competitors to identify opportunities for growth. Support regional leadership with business planning, forecasting, and marketing initiatives. Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and customer functions. Qualifications Include 5+ years of experience in the building materials or construction supply industry. Previous leadership or branch management experience. Strong sales, business development, and customer relationship management skills. Experience managing branch operations, inventory, and financial performance. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Strong business acumen with the ability to make sound operational decisions. Knowledge of local market conditions and competitive landscape. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business systems.
