DOF Canada is currently seeking an HR Assistant (Fixed-Term) to join our Human Resources team for a period of 6 months. Key Responsibilities Assist with the recruitment process such as scheduling interviews, reference checks etc.; Facilitate the onboarding sessions for new employees; Responsible for maintaining electronic personnel files; Support employee communications; Assist with the work permit process for employees travelling internationally; Other HR Assistant duties as assigned. Key Qualifications and Experience: Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management (or equivalent experience); 2 - 3 years’ experience in the Human Resources field; Strategic thinker but not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get work done; Ability to adapt to a fast paced and constantly changing organization with strict deadlines; Knowledge of offshore operations would be preferred, but not critical for the position; Exceptional team member and lead by example with a focus on developing others and yourself; Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times; Organization and time management skills are essential; Advanced ability with Microsoft Office products.
