Job summary

Hiring: Independent Mortgage Agents (2 Positions) | Remote – Southwestern Ontario Are you a newly licensed agent, an existing producer looking for better support, or an experienced professional navigating a career transition? We are expanding our high-performance team within the Dominion Lending Centres (DLC) network—Canada’s premier mortgage organization—and looking for two driven, full-time professionals ready to build a high-earning, independent mortgage practice. If you recently left a corporate, sales, or banking role, transitioning into mortgage brokering allows you to take full control of your career, leverage your professional network, and build a scalable business with true equity. While the position is fully remote, we have a strong preference for candidates based in Southwestern Ontario to capitalize on regional networking, localized market growth, and referral opportunities. Why Partner With Our Team & Dominion Lending Centres? As part of Canada's leading mortgage brand—funding tens of billions in annual mortgage volume across over 230 lending institutions (including major banks, credit unions, and alternative/private lenders)—you start with an immediate competitive edge. • Direct Mentorship: You report directly to the Team Lead, receiving hands-on 1-on-1 coaching, pipeline strategy sessions, and continuous support tailored to accelerate your growth. • Proprietary Technology & Platform: Full access to DLC’s cutting-edge submission platform (Velocity), custom CRM tools, automated client-retention marketing, and streamlined compliance support. • Unmatched Lender Access: Leverage the collective power of Canada's #1 network to offer your clients prime rates, specialized products, and flexible underwriting solutions. • Uncapped 100% Commission Income: No revenue ceiling. Your income potential directly reflects your effort, networking, and execution. The Role Mortgage agents operate as independent, self-employed business owners. You will be responsible for: • Proactively building, managing, and closing your own mortgage deal pipeline. • Establishing strategic referral partnerships with realtors, financial planners, lawyers, accountants, and your personal network. • Advising clients on home purchases, renewals, refinances, and alternative lending solutions. • Maintaining compliance standards in accordance with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA). Who We Are Looking For • Licensing: Active FSRA license or a commitment to completing the Ontario Mortgage Agent Course (we can guide career-changers through the licensing process). • Full-Time Focus: Success in mortgage brokering requires full-time dedication; part-time commitment rarely yields sustainable results. • Background: Prior experience in corporate management, business-to-consumer sales, financial services, or banking translates exceptionally well. • Key Attributes: High coachability, relentless drive, attention to detail, polished communication skills, and self-motivation to build a personal brand.
