Domtar is seeking talent to fill the position of Stores Person at the Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Mill in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. This job is Permanent Full Time. The Stores Person is responsible for moving products and materials to the designated locations in the Stores area to ensure that spare parts and inventory for the mill are accurately stored and available for the trades on request. The Stores Person is also accountable for checking received orders and confirming that all inventory transactions are completed and documented. What You’ll Do: Ensure spare parts and operating supplies are secure and available on a timely basis while maintaining proper inventory levels for the entire site Maintains the Stores and inventory system to ensure the supply of goods needed to support maintenance and operations while maintaining minimum cost Minimize overstock and removal of obsolete/redundant parts and materials Assist Tradespersons & Operators in locating parts Perform other handling duties such as counting, weighing, and sorting Use a forklift for unloading and moving products when needed Support store operations by providing relief coverage and developing skills across multiple store roles. Scheduled on-call in the Stores department on weekends What You Bring: High School diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred Willingness and ability to successfully complete company-provided training, including: * WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) * Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) * Forklift Operator Certification * Warehouse Management training Previous inventory-related work experience is considered an asset Strong computer proficiency, including experience using SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook), with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
