As a key member of the Projects & Planning team, this role supports strategic and business planning initiatives, project coordination, and organizational change by connecting leaders, teams, and priorities across the business. This position matters because it translates strategy into actionable plans, strengthens cross-functional collaboration, and ensures projects and change initiatives are well supported, clearly communicated, and aligned with organizational objectives — helping EB Horsman operate more effectively, efficiently, and cohesively. What To Expect In The Role Strategic & Business Planning Support Partner with executives and department leaders to support the development and execution of strategic and business plans, including annual and quarterly planning cycles. Facilitate collaborative planning sessions and ensure alignment between organizational goals, departmental priorities, and project portfolios. Initiate and manage monthly update meetings with champions to support successful business outcomes. Business Analysis & Project Coordination Support the initiation, planning, and coordination of projects across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic and business objectives. Work closely with project sponsors, champions, and stakeholders to define scopes, business requirements, risks, vendor communications, deliverables, project plans, budgets, change management activities, and communications. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project activities are organized, milestones are communicated, and deliverables are achieved. Monitor progress, support issue resolution, manage escalation paths, and contribute to risk mitigation efforts. Communication & Change Management Develop clear and effective communications related to planning initiatives, projects, and organizational change. Support training, process mapping, and change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems. Foster strong relationships across teams to promote alignment, early issue detection, and collaborative problem solving. Champion organizational standards, governance processes, and project management best practices. Ideal candidate profile 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, project management, process mapping, change management, and corporate communications. Degree or certification in Business, Commerce, Technology, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization with strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable managing cross-functional calendars, meetings, agendas, and action items. Able to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to complex initiatives. Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize complex information. Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Passionate about aligning people, processes, and projects to enable organizational success. Familiarity with software evaluation and selection is considered an asset.
