Temporary Grade 7 and 8 Science and Math Teacher (Competition No. T05-2627-SOH) East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 FTE Grade 7 and 8 Science and Math Teacher at School of Hope in Vermilion, Alberta. This is a full-time temporary contract position starting November 30, 2026, to June 29, 2026. The position can be taught from any of our centers: (Vermilion or Sherwood Park). We will train the successful candidate on the use of Canvas (Course Learning Management System) and Zoom (online lesson platform) as necessary. Individuals exhibiting the following education, characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply: Bachelor of Education Familiarity with Grade 7 and 8 Science and Math subjects as well as Math 30-3 Focus on high quality, student-centered learning Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership Willing to take initiative to organize workshops and field trips for students Familiarity with Online Learning and lesson delivery an asset A passion for Catholic Christian education Interested applicants with a commitment to Excellence in Education can apply by sending the following documents to the address below: An Alberta teaching certificate and a current copy of all university transcripts A cover letter and complete resume with three references including the name of your last supervisor.
