Eataly is not a chain; each Eataly is different, with its own character and own theme – but all with the same aim... for our guests to: EAT authentic Italian food at our restaurants, cafés and to-go counters SHOP a selection of high-quality Italian, local and homemade products LEARN through our classes and our team’s product knowledge Job Description This is a seasonal position with an expected end date of 01/02/2027 The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and making suggestions. Reports to the Area Beverage Operations Manager. Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guest service Educates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise Executes La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes under the direction of the Beverage Director Sets up for each class including rolling silverware, setting places and gathering materials Checks in guests and introduces classes Opens wine and pours for guests Describes flavor profile, pairing detail and winery information Breaks down after each class Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Wine sale experience Italian wine knowledge preferred Strong customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing role Job Requirements Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred Compensation Compensation for this role is $20.00 hourly This position has been posted to fill a current vacancy Additional Information Benefits and Perks Paid Time Off Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
