As a Project Manager you will plan, organize, direct and control the work of construction sites to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and at the highest level of quality. Requirements Responsibilities: Understand, manage and execute technical and administrative contract documents including drawings, specifications and background documents on an IO (Infrastructure Ontario) Project under the direction of a Project Director and\or Senior PM under the VP - Construction; Acquire, develop, manage and execute the necessary technical and administrative information from the various persons, trades, local authorities, owner(s) etc. to execute the proejct; Manage a project team on-site with true leadership, ethics, integrity and collaboration while maintaining safety, environment, quality and schedule as key success pillars ; Develop and Manage monthly billings and identiy, report and manage contract and subcontract changes Prepare, develop, manage and resolve contract and subcontract claims in accordance to the contract Mentor and develop junior staff members, providing guidance on project management best practices and career growth; Lead projects in uncharted territory, developing innovative solutions when traditional approaches may not be sufficient; Obtain licenses and permits as needed for the execution of the work; Draft contracts and agreements, negotiate terms and award them to subcontractors; Develop the prevention program requested for CNESST and monitor it on site; Establish the schedule (dates, main stages of construction, constraints, methodology) and / or the critical path of the project and monitor it weekly; Inform the superintendent of the project and discuss with him and the director of the proposed methods; Place orders for critical materials, negotiate prices and prepare contract documents, in collaboration with the senior project manager and or project director, for subcontractors; Coordinate and participate in various meetings; Establish and maintain a professional and continuous positive rapport with the client, etc. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like construction\project management or engineering or equivalent, Relevant 5 to 7 years’ experience in construction project management; Strong leadership and communication skills; Master of MS Office, especially MS-Word, Excel and Powerpoint; Shows initiative and leadership; Strong management, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills; Must be eligible and able to obtain a Federal Security Clearance Experience in working on Infrastructure Ontario (IO) Project(s) especially working with IO`s new project management software, Kahua Experience in construction of large scale complex masonry finished wall project(s) Experience in construction of detention center projects Benefits Benefits Competitive salary; 4 weeks of annual vacation; Complete group insurance program upon entry (health and dental components paid by the employer); Group RRSP with employer contribution to a Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan (DPSP); 24-hour access to a virtual doctor (telemedicine); Training and development programs; Employee assistance program; Active social club and health and wellness committee; Diverse, innovative, and stimulating environment; A company built on values of respect; integrity, and a job well done; Firm recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies.

Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in construction, project management, or engineering with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. Must be eligible for Federal Security Clearance and have experience with Infrastructure Ontario projects and Kahua software.
