Human Resources Coordinator Recruitment & Onboarding (80%) Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and corporate positions across Ontario, including intake meetings with hiring managers, job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, selection support, onboarding, and new hire orientation. Support recruitment activities for other sites (Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia) as required, in collaboration with local stakeholders. Conduct in-person onboarding and orientation for the Ontario workforce, including welcoming new hires, reviewing company policies and procedures, delivering onboarding presentations, coordinating locker assignments, and ensuring employees are set up for a successful start. Partner with staffing agencies to support recruitment needs, including coordinating requirements, completing weekly agency timesheets, reviewing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and escalating issues as appropriate. Coordinate locker assignments and manage overalls inventory. Health & Safety, Training and General HR Support (20%) Coordinate and track required training for hourly and salaried employees, including maintaining the training matrix, issuing Records of Training (ROTs), and ensuring timely completion, follow-up, and accurate documentation. Support health and safety initiatives, including participation in the Health and Safety Committee and completion of Safety-at-Source program audits. Participate in Toolbox Meetings as required. Support the planning and coordination of employee engagement activities. Work closely with the Human Resources Managers to support day-to-day HR activities and special projects. Provide general HR and administrative support as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive, and people-focused HR professional with a college diploma or degree in Human Resources and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and onboarding. They demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable working independently and collaboratively, maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, and is proficient with HR and business technology. Qualifications & Experience College diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of two or three (2-3) years of relevant Human Resources experience, managing full-cycle recruitment and coordinating new hire onboarding and orientation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology, with strong PowerPoint skills. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in manufacturing industry is an asset. Bilingualism in English and French and experience with Dayforce Learning Management Module are considered a great asset.
