Language of Work: English Wage: $37.00 per hour Job Description and Responsibilites: We are a custom fabrication manufacturer looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting complex specifications and utilizing a variety of welding processes to fabricate high-quality architectural metal products. Main Tasks and Duties: Interpret Specifications & Blueprints: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and welding process specifications. Equipment Operation: Operate manual, semi-automatic, or fully automated welding equipment. Quality Assurance: Examine welds to ensure they meet quality standards and engineering specifications. Metal Shaping & Preparation: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, as well as brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines. Materials Joining: Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, and determine the overall weldability of various materials. Maintenance: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment. Experience and Specializations: Area of Specialization: Custom Fabrication Materials Experience: Aluminum alloys, Stainless steel, Copper and copper alloys, and other Non-ferrous materials. Welding Techniques: Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW / TIG), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW / MIG), Brazing, and Soldering. Equipment Experience: Arc welding machines, Gas welding machines, Brazing machines, and Soldering machines. Employment Requirements: Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of professional welding experience. Benefits and Compensation: Hourly Rate: $37.00 per hour Vacation: 2 weeks (10 days) of paid vacation annually after the completion of a probationary period, with vacation pay calculated at 4% of gross earnings.
