Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist Requisition: RQ000807 Location: Fully Remote Contract: Initial 2-week engagement, with potential for extended engagement beginning December Target Start Date: October 28 Experience: 5–7+ years About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to support an upcoming RFP and broader Salesforce initiative. The ideal candidate will bring 5–7+ years of relevant experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, combining strong functional and solution design capabilities with hands-on configuration experience . Following the RFP process and associated waiting period, there is potential for the consultant to return for a larger engagement beginning in December , anticipated to include approximately 300 billable hours . This role can be performed fully remotely . Key Responsibilities Provide functional and solution design expertise across Salesforce Marketing Cloud . Lead client workshops to understand business objectives, current-state processes, and marketing requirements. Capture and translate business and functional requirements into clear user stories and solution requirements . Work collaboratively as part of a broader team to implement and configure the Salesforce Marketing Cloud product. Provide recommendations and solution guidance around an existing Salesforce environment as part of a Salesforce-to-Salesforce CRM migration . Assess existing Marketing Cloud processes and identify opportunities for optimization and improved integration. Configure and support Marketing Cloud functionality, including: Journey Builder Automation Studio Email Studio Contact Builder Audience segmentation CRM and Salesforce integrations Support solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation activities. Clearly communicate technical and functional recommendations to both business and technical stakeholders. Contribute expertise and solution recommendations to support the RFP response and subsequent implementation. Required Qualifications 5–7+ years of relevant Salesforce/Marketing Cloud experience . Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration and implementation . Strong functional consulting and solution design background . Demonstrated experience leading client workshops and requirements-gathering sessions. Ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and functional/technical requirements . Strong knowledge of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder, segmentation, and CRM integration . Experience working with Salesforce CRM integrations and migrations; Salesforce-to-Salesforce CRM migration experience is highly desirable . Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Nice to haves; Marketing Cloud certification(s) Background with other marketing automation products (ex.
