In this hands-on position, you will support essential infrastructure by ensuring electrical and instrumentation systems operate efficiently, responding to emergencies, and contributing to continuous improvement across our facilities. What You Will Do: Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic, PLC, SCADA, high-voltage switchgear, HVAC systems, and metering/instrumentation equipment. Respond to emergency situations as a First Responder, supporting site security, containment, and clean-up efforts, while participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work using systems such as Maximo, eSource, WorkDay, and Safe Work Permits. Support construction and commissioning activities, including installation, inspection, and startup of new electrical and electronic systems critical to pipeline operations. Ensure drawings and technical documentation are up to date, including managing and completing as-built revisions for assigned projects. Collaborate across teams and provide after-hours support to maintain uninterrupted operations, prioritizing work in alignment with Control Center requirements. Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to company policies, participating in emergency response exercises, and ensuring all tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained in safe working condition. Who You Are: Electrical, Electronic, or Instrumentation Diploma/ Certificate from a recognized technical program and/or: Journeyman certificate in Construction, Industrial, or Power Electrician. Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial electrical field or Enbridge Electrical Technologist position. Possess essential computer skills to work with existing and developing programs such as Maximo, MS Office, Webcad, WorkDay, and eSource, various SCADA and PLC Interfaces. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Valid Driver’s license and good driving record. Working Conditions: Mix of office and field environment. Working in hazardous or restricted locations such as pump rooms, confined spaces, tank lots, and classified areas within. Schedule based on 40 hours/week unless working under Alternate Working Arrangements (AWA) Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
