As opportunities become available, Civil Engineers may contribute to: Civil and structural engineering studies, designs, and technical evaluations Engineering assessments for energy, industrial, infrastructure, and water-related projects Design and analysis of reinforced concrete, steel, and foundation systems Development of engineering calculations, reports, drawings, and technical specifications Structural and civil analyses utilizing industry-standard modeling and design software Site investigations, field assessments, and construction support activities Review and quality assurance of design deliverables and contractor submissions Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders Support of proposal development, project execution, and client engagement activities Compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and client requirements Our teams operate in a hybrid work environment and offer opportunities for professional development, technical growth, and long-term career advancement. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution Progressive experience in civil engineering, consulting, engineering services, EPC, utility, industrial, infrastructure, energy, water, or construction environments Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and industry standards Experience performing engineering studies, designs, analyses, calculations, and technical evaluations Knowledge of applicable Canadian engineering codes and standards Experience preparing engineering reports, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams Proficiency with engineering software and modeling tools relevant to civil engineering projects Fluency in English is required Preferred qualifications may include: Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration within Canada Experience working in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, hydropower, utilities, or industrial facilities Experience supporting major capital projects or large-scale infrastructure developments Knowledge of Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards, provincial regulations, and the National Building Code of Canada Experience working with owner organizations, utilities, government agencies, or major infrastructure clients Additional Details Hybrid work arrangements may be available depending on the role and business needs Opportunities may be located in Toronto, Markham, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, or other Canadian project locations Occasional travel to client sites, project locations, and industry events may be required A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions Candidates must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE and TRACTEBEL safety, ethics, and compliance requirements Some positions may require field work and exposure to varying weather and site conditions Compensation Compensation will vary based on the specific role, location, experience, education, and qualifications of the selected candidate. Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and progressive experience in civil engineering, consulting, engineering services, construction, or related sectors are required. Candidates should have knowledge of engineering principles, Canadian codes and standards, technical documentation, relevant modeling software, and strong communication skills; P.Eng. designation or eligibility and regulated-industry experience are preferred.
