Your main responsibilities Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times; Support and coordinate Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III Environmental Site Assessments; Conduct soil, groundwater, and soil vapour sampling programs in accordance with project requirements; Coordinate and oversee drilling, test pitting, borehole advancement, and monitoring well installation programs; Collect detailed field observations, maintain accurate field notes, and complete chain-of-custody documentation; Assist with groundwater monitoring, hydraulic conductivity testing, and remediation monitoring programs; Coordinate subcontractors, drilling contractors, laboratories, and utility locates during field activities; Support excess soil, due diligence, and contaminated sites investigations for redevelopment and infrastructure projects; Assist in analyzing environmental data and preparing technical reports, figures, and summary tables; Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, contractors, project stakeholders, and team members; Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of field equipment, and maintaining adequate stocks of field supplies/consumables at warehouse for all field staff; Provide mentorship, coaching and training to support development of junior field staff. What makes you unique College diploma or university degree in Environmental Technology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline; 3+ years of experience supporting environmental consulting projects involving contaminated sites investigations and field programs; Experience conducting soil, groundwater, and environmental sampling programs; Experience overseeing drilling activities, test pitting, monitoring well installation, and field subcontractors; Familiarity with Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments; Working knowledge of Ontario environmental regulations including contaminated sites and excess soil regulations is considered an asset; Strong understanding of field documentation, QA/QC procedures, chain-of-custody requirements, and laboratory coordination; Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Valid Ontario driver's licence with the ability to travel to project sites and work outdoors in varying weather conditions; Demonstrated commitment to health and safety and a willingness to complete required safety training and certifications.
