MPE (A Division of Englobe) is currently seeking a Senior Civil Design/Drafter with ten (+) years of experience to join our team in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our Civil Design Teams across three main sectors including Water Resources, Municipal and Building Services. The successful candidate will require a collaborative work ethic with the ability to effectively communicate with team members to coordinate and deliver exceptional work products with a focus on personal time management to maintain enforced budget constraints. Your Main Responsibilities Leading civil design/drafting teams on the development of pipeline plans, earthworks analysis, plan/profile drawings, and details. Complete corporate reviews of drawing packages to ensure they accurately represent the design and meet corporate drafting standards. Interpreting and processing survey data and field notes to create topographical surfaces for use in design and quantity takeoffs. Preparing material and quantity takeoffs throughout various phases of projects. Mentor and support junior staff. Strong team work ethic and ability to develop drawings and documents based on both verbal and written instruction. Ability to prioritize and independently manage multiple projects at one time, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget. Knowledge of industry accepted drafting standards and reporting. What Makes You Unique A diploma or degree in relevant discipline; Eligibility for professional membership with APEGS or TPSK is required; Ability to lead design teams and work with little to no supervision.
