Job Title: Solution Architect – Digital Health Location: Fredericton, NB Job Type: Contract Experience: 15+ Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support complex Digital Health initiatives, including the expansion and integration of a Drug Information System (DIS) and related healthcare applications. The Solution Architect will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, government stakeholders, healthcare organizations, vendors, and implementation teams to design scalable, secure, and standards-aligned solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop solution architecture and technical design for Digital Health and healthcare integration initiatives. Support the expansion of Drug Information Systems and integration with Community Pharmacy and other healthcare solutions. Define solution requirements, architecture standards, principles, and integration approaches. Review project deliverables and participate in architecture governance and Stage Gate reviews. Design and support enterprise application and system integration solutions. Develop integration specifications and Vendor Implementation Guides. Collaborate with vendors, project teams, healthcare organizations, and technical stakeholders. Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and technical gaps and recommend solutions. Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, integration, and technology standards. Support implementation, testing, deployment, and operational teams. Mandatory Qualifications University degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered. 15+ years of IM/IT experience. 10+ years of experience as a Lead Solution Architect on medium-to-large system development, COTS implementation, enterprise integration, or healthcare technology projects within the last 15 years. Experience leading complex projects involving multiple business units, stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams. Strong experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Integration, Application Architecture, and Technical Design. Experience with requirements analysis, architecture governance, solution assessment, and implementation planning. Strong stakeholder communication and technical documentation skills. Must be available to work in Fredericton, NB as required. Preferred Skills Healthcare / Digital Health / eHealth experience. Experience with EHR, Pharmacy Systems, Clinical Systems, or Healthcare Integration. Experience with APIs, middleware, web services, EDI, data integration, and enterprise applications. Experience with SAP, ERP integration, SAP S/4HANA, SD/PP, VC/AVC, CPQ, or MES is an asset. PMP certification is an asset.

Requires a university degree in a technical field and over 15 years of IM/IT experience, including 10+ years as a Lead Solution Architect. Candidates must have a proven track record of leading complex healthcare technology projects and be available to work in Fredericton, NB.
