Job Title: UX Designer Location: Toronto, ON Type: Contract Work Model: Onsite Experience: 3+ Years Work Hours: 36.25 hrs/week Job Description: We are seeking a UX Designer with 3+ years of relevant experience working on complex digital products and projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in user-centred design, mobile-first and responsive design, user research, usability testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Apply UX design best practices to develop effective, user-centred solutions. Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles. Ability to efficiently iterate and refine designs based on user feedback and testing. Participate in complex projects of different sizes while following UX best practices, project plans, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Facilitate user research and usability testing activities. Develop User Interview Topic Maps, Interview Scripts, Interview Synthesis, and User Research Findings Reports. Experience with accessibility compliance testing is an asset. Work closely with Product Owners, developers, business teams, and other stakeholders to support successful product delivery. Demonstrated communication, mediation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills. Experience supporting projects through Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live (DABL) or similar delivery methodologies. Ability to work effectively within balanced Agile/Scrum teams. Strong hands-on experience with UX and design tools including Figma, Axure, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud, Zeplin, and/or JustInMind. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, and Node.js experience is an asset. Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams and communicating closely with clients and stakeholders. Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, UX Design, or a related field. Certification or education in Usability, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Technical Writing is an asset. Strong knowledge of DABL (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live) is preferred. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements

Requires 3+ years of relevant UX experience and a degree or diploma in Graphic Design, UX Design, or a related field. Candidates should have hands-on experience with UX design tools, user research, usability testing, Agile/Scrum, and stakeholder collaboration; accessibility testing, web technologies, and HCI or usability education are assets.
