Position Summary The Millwright Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, installation, and modification of all warehouse equipment. The primary objective of this role is to ensure optimal uptime and reliable performance of machinery and automated systems. Knowledge of electrical codes and the ability to interpret electrical drawings are considered strong assets. This is a stable, shop-based position within a fully automated facility, requiring regular work in refrigerated and freezer environments. Compensation And Benefits Employment Type: Full-time Wage Range: $35.00 – $44.00 per/hour Paid time off, including a paid birthday day off Group medical, dental, and vision benefits (company sponsored) Company-sponsored pension plan with employer-matched contributions Company events throughout the year (summer picnic, BBQs, annual Christmas party, etc.) Friendly and supportive workplace culture On-site parking Duties and Responsibilities Repairing and maintaining the building facility and all production equipment Perform cleaning and preventative maintenance on Automated & Robotic equipment Inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions Troubleshooting and repairing machines and electrical equipment Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Installing, aligning, and moving stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools Operating, hoisting, and lifting devices to position machinery during the installation, set up and repair Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation; using hand and power tools and welding equipment Qualifications And Skills Millwright Diploma Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an industrial Maintenance Millwright or equivalent trade Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and adapt to different situations Team player and Good Communication skills Ability to perform in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Flexible and creative approach while working in an environment that is dedicated to continuous improvement Focus and discipline; take pride in a job well done Decision making and judgement Planning and organizing Understanding technical documents Accountability and dependability PLC knowledge is an asset Schedule 8.5-hour shift with unpaid lunch Rotational shift requirement On call and overtime, as needed Weekends (planned, if necessary) Language Requirements English Location & Work Arrangement Kitchener, Ontario On-site position Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to starting Disclosure Statements This is a publicly advertised posting for an existing, active vacancy within our organization. .
