Intermediate Software Developer (Front-End/Full Stack)

Position Summary: We are looking for an Intermediate Software Developer with strong front-end development skills and an interest in full-stack development. You will help build and enhance our web-based analytics and mapping platform used by customers across North America. You'll work on modern React application, collaborate with backend developers and product team, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle from design through deployment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real business problems, takes ownership of their work, and wants to continue growing their technical expertise across both front-end and backend technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript. Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components. Integrate with REST APIs and backend services. Work with large datasets, interactive visualizations, and mapping applications. Collaborate with Product, UX, QA and Engineering teams to deliver customer value. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions. Troubleshoot production issues and help improve application reliability and performance. Write automated unit and integration tests. Contribute to continuous improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and development processes. Participate in the development of backend APIs and services where appropriate. Qualifications & Experience: Candidates should meet most of the following requirements: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience building production applications with React. Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Experience building reusable component-based user interfaces. Experience consuming and troubleshooting REST APIs. Experience working with application state management patterns. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility fundamentals. Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment, including pull requests, branching strategies, and code reviews. Experience writing automated tests. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have experience with some of the following: C# and ASP.NET Core development. SQL development and relational database design. Authentication and authorization solutions such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, or MSAL. Azure cloud services. CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Performance optimization and application monitoring. Geospatial, mapping, or analytics applications. Working in Agile product development teams.

You will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role also involves contributing to backend API development and ensuring application performance through testing and troubleshooting.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of professional software development experience, including 2 years of hands-on production experience with React. Proficiency in TypeScript, REST API integration, and collaborative version control using Git is required.
