We are seeking a Senior Developer to play a key role in modernizing our core applications with a strong focus on accessibility and compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA). In this role, you will contribute to a large-scale, multi-year initiative to redesign and enhance our front-end applications to ensure they are fully accessible, scalable across devices, and compliant with contractual requirements. As a senior member of the team, you will bring deep expertise in .NET development, apply accessibility best practices, and help guide both technical direction and team capability in this critical area. What you’ll do: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications using C#/.NET. Drive accessibility-first development, ensuring all solutions meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards. Develop and modernize front-end components to support responsive, scalable, and accessible user experiences across devices. Conduct accessibility testing (automated and manual, including screen readers) and remediate identified issues. Embed accessibility standards into the full development lifecycle, including design, code reviews, and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, BA, QA, DevOps) to deliver compliant, high-quality releases. Mentor junior and intermediate developers, providing guidance on technical development and accessibility best practices. What you’ll bring: Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical experience At least 5 years of software development work experience. Deep, working knowledge of WCAG principles (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust) and WAI-ARIA. Excellent communication skills Highly proficient in C#/.NET/ASPX (recent experience required) Familiarity with writing and consuming APIs Experience with Nuget libraries, the nHibernate ORM and Entity Framework Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, SQL Scripting for MS SQL and unit testing frameworks for .NET would be an asset Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize AI-assisted development tools as part of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and debugging, while exercising sound technical judgment and responsible AI practices.
