Job details

Covering areas of Housekeeping, Laundry and Food Service to residents with memory and Health issues. We operate 7 days a week with hours between 6am-6:30 pm. Must be able to multi task, lift up to 20lbs, stand for extended periods. Must have reliable transportation and be available for shift work when scheduled, including holidays. As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will: * Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas. * Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen. * Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management About you: * You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent * Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset * Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Requirements

Must possess a valid Food Handler Certificate and be able to lift up to 20lbs while standing for extended periods. Previous experience in housekeeping, food services, or a healthcare environment is preferred.
