Evergreen Sheet Metal (2018) has been operating in the BC Lower Mainland HVAC and Sheet Metal Industry for over 15 years. We are a part of the Local 280 union, and we are currently looking for a hardworking individual to join our team as a Stainless Steel Level B Welder at the Clinical Support and Research Centre Project in Downtown Vancouver. Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and CSA standards. Experience with CWB/CSA welding requirements (W47.1, W47.2, W59). Leadership skills for supervising and coordinating site work. Strong safety knowledge (provincial OHS rules). Ability to complete FLHAs, toolbox talks, and safety paperwork. Good communication with engineers, inspectors, and site supervisors. Qualification Red Seal Welder (preferred). CWB welding tickets (CSA W47.1 / W47.2). WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, Confined Space, First Aid, CSTS-20. Aerial Lift / Forklift Journeyperson Welder Certification (provincial). Additional technical or sheet metal trades training is an asset.
