Role Description This is a Hairstylist role OR chair rental model (provided the stylist has a clientele. evoke stylists will consult with guests to understand their preferences and hair care needs, provide cutting, coloring, styling, and treatment services, and recommend appropriate hair care products. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon standards and safety regulations, and ensuring a welcoming, professional environment. The Hairstylist will also have full control to manage their appointment schedules, support salon promotions, and collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service. Qualifications Strong skills in Hair Styling and Hair Care, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques. Foundational knowledge and training in Cosmetology, with current licensing or certification as required in Ontario. Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to create positive, memorable guest experiences. Clear and professional Communication skills for client consultations and teamwork within the salon. Attention to detail, strong sense of style and trends, and commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for salon operations. Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred; ongoing interest in education and staying current with industry techniques is beneficial.
