POSITION: TECHNICAL MANAGER — DIE & MOLD MACHINING Type: Permanent, Full-Time Industry: Die & Mold Machining Location: Markham, Ontario OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead and advance our die and mold machining operations. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise in CNC machining, programming, and process optimization, combined with leadership experience in managing CAM development teams. QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the metal machining industry * Strong background in CNC programming for milling and turning * Experience with CNC machine controls such as FANUC, Mitsubishi, and Heidenhain * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education * Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a machining environment KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop machine shop applications in collaboration with the IT team * Design and implement CNC macro programs with a focus on automation and efficiency * Lead, manage, and mentor the CAM programming team * Provide technical guidance and support for CAM development initiatives * Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical issues in the machine shop * Continuously improve machining processes, methods, and productivity * Support overseas operations through occasional short-term travel assignments COMPENSATION & BENEFITS * Competitive salary range: $70,000 – $150,000 (based on experience) * Comprehensive benefits package * Profit-sharing program * Monthly and annual performance-based bonuses
